NORTH/SOUTH BX

The beautiful BX area is a gently sloping valley where you’ll find both smaller and larger sized acreages, senior housing, executive properties as well as single-family homes in all ranges of age and styles in a country atmosphere. The BX lies to the east of Vernon and is a great place for those who want rural living but still want the convenience of living close to the city’s centre. Some houses in this area may have lake, city, and valley views.

As with most communities within Vernon, the BX offers a bounty of opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts, including world-class skiing at Silver Star Mountain Resort, which is only a 20-minute drive away. BX Falls Trail is a forested walking trail that leads you along the BX Creek to a scenic waterfall and as well through the BX Ranch Park which is an off-leash dog park. The Vernon favorite Atlantis Waterslides in the north end of the BX, is open all summer long, and not far from the south end of the BX is the Vernon District Riding Club.
